They feel like memories from a life you’ve never lived.
Like a scene from a movie that was never made.
Like a story you somehow remember, even though it never happened.

Maybe that’s what we’re all chasing:
creating something that feels bigger than a single frame.

Centuries of history.
Light that seems untouched by time.
A touch of nostalgia.
A little bit of imagination.

The kind of imagery that doesn’t try to feel perfect – just honest, atmospheric and a little timeless.

Soft sunlight, flowing fabric, candlelight, old textures and moments that almost look like still frames from a forgotten film.

Shot on analog film with all the imperfections I never want to remove.

Started with standing on stage at @wayupnorth in Vienna, speaking in front of a loooooot of people (pretty sure I almost shit my pants - somehow made it through).

And ended with this. ✨

Winning Epic Portrait at the Way Up North Awards 2025.

They say epic is about scale - about making something feel bigger than it actually is.
No formula, no shortcuts. Just patience, light, and trusting what you see before it fully unfolds.

That’s exactly what this one was.

Really grateful that the jury saw it the same way. That means a lot.

And thank you to Way Up North for the trust and for creating a space like this for our work.

A day I’ll definitely remember.
